One last call from the Commissioner, Adam West has passed away.
West was 88 and he was best known for his campy take on the Caped Crusader. Along with Burt Ward as Robin, the two became iconic figures from the Sixties.
This is what Burt Ward had to say to the Daily News,
"This is a terribly unexpected loss of my lifelong friend. I will forever miss him. There are several fine actors who have portrayed Batman in films. In my eyes, there was only one real Batman that is and always will be Adam West. He was truly the Bright Night."
For my part, I watched every single minute of the original series and I absolutely loved it. He will be deeply missed.
One last Batusi to you sir.
